Volunteer
“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.— Coretta Scott King
Come Volunteer
We have lots of opportunities!
Habitat for Humanity of High Point, Archdale and Trinity has taken on numerous exciting projects over its 35-year history. We finished our development in the Washington Terrace Park community. Building over 40 homes in a small 4 block area, the neighborhood is transformed by homeownership! In partnership with the City of High Point’s Community Development and Housing Department along with many other partners, Habitat is now building on Southside. Ten homes are already complete with 2 more under construction. This development will offer more of our neighbors and friends the opportunity to own their own home.
Build Homes
If you are looking for a meaningful volunteer experience … come help us build homes for families in our community!
No experience is necessary, just a desire to help and to learn something new. Habitat volunteers perform a variety of tasks, including framing, roofing, floors, and installing cabinets, doors, and windows.

Anyone under 18 is considered to be a youth volunteer.
Our worksite policy is that youth aged 16-17 will be allowed on site provided they work no more than 4 feet off of the ground, and that they do not use power tools. Youth 14 – 15 may work on the build site doing landscaping, cleanup, and painting when power tools are not in use.We try to involve young people in building support functions when possible. This could include preparing lunches or snacks for Saturday groups, or making a housewarming basket for a homeowner. Call us to inquire about other youth opportunities!
